Nestlow Hat is a simple little hat in three sizes. The hat begins with a 2x2 rib with twisted stitches and has a 24 stitch twisted lace panel and stockinette.

This pattern has been test knit and professionally tech edited.

Yarn: 130 (150, 170) yards (119, 137, 155 m) DK weight yarn. Shown in Sweet Fiber Merino Twist DK (100% superwash merino, 260 yards (238 m)/115 g), Moonstone.

Needles: US 5 (3.75 mm) and US 6 (4 mm), 16 inch circular needles; US 6 double point needles (DPN), or size needed to achieve gauge.

Gauge: 19 stitches and 30 rounds/4 inches (10 cm) in stockinette stitch on larger needles after blocking.

Notions: Two stitch markers, yarn needle.

Finished Size: Finished blocked circumference: 18½“ (20¼”, 22”) to fit 20½“(22”, 24”) head circumference.

Necessary Skills: Basic knitting skills, knitting in the round, k2tog, ssk, yarn over. All special stitches are explained in the pattern.
