Red is my mother’s favorite color, and I designed this cowl just for her. We live in Las Vegas, NV where it never gets very cold, so I knitted this with an airy pattern that lets it breathe without feeling a draft. I also love infinity scarves because they can be worn so many ways and make the perfect everyday accessory and gift.

Because it can be worn so many ways and used so often, I decided to use the most durable and comfortable economic choice of material: Acrylic. Acrylic isn’t the plasticy itchy stuff of yore. With new technology, nothing compares to the combination of silky softness, ease of care, and pure durability that premium acrylic yarns have to offer. Being the spill-clutz and lazy washer that I am, I much prefer acrylic to merino or wool and design most of my wearables with this awesome material.
