A cute textured knit bag just big enough for your keys and phone/wallet as you head out travelling light. Instructions describe a long strap to use as a cross body bag though is easy to shorten if preferred. Gauge is not critical to fit your body, but tight/firm stitches are useful for a bag project to help the bag take the weight of it’s contents.

This pattern only uses the basic techniques but the geometric pattern keeps you focussed while knitting and the sewing up at the end could keep you on your toes!

Pattern includes LOTS of photos to help the assembly of the bag and the option of sewing in a cotton liner. Also includes video links for cast on method and I-cord construction.

Skill level suits an adventurous beginner to intermediate knitter, with some basic hand sewing (ladder stitch, back stitch and whip stitch). Techniques include double tail cast on, knit, purl, cast off and knitting an I-Cord.
