A cropped cardigan for babies, toddlers, and little girls combines contrasting stripes in a top-down sweater that’s a perfect layering piece for all seasons.

The size range is 6 months through 10 years, so this is an easy sweater you can make again and again.

The finished chest measures 19.25 (20, 20.75, 22.75, 23.25, 25.5,
27.25, 28)“; the model is shown wearing the 18 months size.

The body of the sweater is worked in Stockinette stitch with the contrasting stripes on the yoke worked in reverse Stockinette stitch.

Materials:
175 (200, 220, 240, 270, 300, 340, 370) yds of the main color and approximately 15 (15, 15, 30, 30, 30, 30, 30) yds of each of the contrast colors.
US size 6 (3.75mm) 20-24” circular needle for the body and a set of US 6 (3.75mm) double pointed needles for the sleeves
