This is an easy pattern to work up and it works up quickly. I suggest worsted weight or even bulky weight yarn. I designed this doily pattern with newborn baby photo shoots in mind. It makes a great photo prop. You can either lay the baby on top of it or lay it over the baby’s tush.
The size of the mat depends on the yarn you use.
