June 1, 2014: A revised pattern version has been uploaded to ravelry. The instructions to “Inc 1” has been changed to “kfb”.

This sweater has no seams and the stitch pattern beside the front button bands is very easy. Using the Snuggly Wuggly yarn, I got a 17” finished chest measurement.

If you want a larger sweater, use a larger needle size and heavier yarn - remember to also make the body and sleeves longer to be in proportion with the width.

A few people have questioned the “kfb” increase used in this pattern. It simply means to knit into the front and the back of the same stitch, thus creating 2 stitches from one. Here’s a link to a tutorial for anyone who needs it. kfb tutorial
