The Newport Summer Shrug is a fun piece to wear in the spring and summer over a tank top or tee. It can be made cropped as shown, waist or hip length. Easy, fast and fun knit even for a beginner. The loose, flowing design adds flair to any casual outfit!
It is made in one piece with cut outs for the neck and shoulders. It is worked flat and sewn with a short seam at the wrist.
This fun top is worked at a large gauge with Light Worsted weight yarn.
The cropped sample is knit with 3 skeins of Berroco Pima 100 and size US 8 needle.
