2/14:

This pattern is no longer available. I created and posted it for a knitting class for elderly ladies who wanted to learn how to knit AND use computers to stay connected to their new grandchildren.

The ladies were taught how to navigate to Ravelry, locate and download the pattern, then work on knitting. The specific format of the pattern - explicit instructions for each row - was
designed for learning. Advanced knitters would surely have found this tedious, but it work really well for that audience, and the ladies were able to follow along easily and keep their place in the pattern. We knitted two projects - one from the written pattern, and one from a chart I created. Then we learned how to read more modern patterns where the instructions were less explicit.

Any errors in the pattern were addressed and corrected during the class, but since the class was over I didn’t bother to update Ravelry. If you would like a copy of the updated pattern, please feel free to contact me directly. If you have any issues or concerns, I’m glad to help, as the pattern is not at all difficult to follow.
