This is an easy, quick knit, yet very functional. I don’t like putting my teacup, nail file, or other things directly on the furniture wood. So for years I had been using a magazine. I finally decided to make something nice, that would complement the rooms décor yet would take the place of the old magazine. This extra large coaster is felted nice and thick so that I won’t have to worry about putting a cold glass of water on it. When not in used, it looks lovely too. I used one skein and knitted until the yarn ran out. But you can make it as large or as small as you’d like.
