Night’s candles is a beaded love knot shawl with a non-beaded edging. Several photos are included to assist in mastering the beaded love knot stitch.

The pattern is a two-part pattern. Instructions are also included for Jocund Day, a plain love knot shawl with a beaded edging.

Because both shawls are worked point up, they can be adjusted to any size. Bead amounts needed are given for 35 and 40 row shawls, and the pattern instructions include formulas for finding the number of beads needed for a customized shawl size.
