Niilo Beanie Junior is worked from the bottom up.

Begin by knitting the folded brim, then continue with the textured stitch pattern all the way to the top.

You can use a cable needle for the texture pattern, but since it only involves crossing two stitches, it can easily be worked without one.

This texture pattern is named after our firstborn.
