This doll is worked from the top down in continuous rounds, changing colors for different parts of the body as you go.
I used a total of 5 different colors but it could be from as few as 3 different colors. One main color, a contrast color and a skin color. The hair could be the same as one of those colors.

I didn’t include a gauge for the larger doll. It was made using the worsted weight yarn and larger needle mentioned above. The gauge on the doll in the pictures was too loose as you can see the stuffing. The key to gauge when making toys it that the stuffing stays inside where it is safe for the baby or toddler who might be playing with it.

Adjust your hook size as necessary to make a tighter gauge fabric.
