It’s dusk and the warmth still wraps us is its cozy blanket. All day, the sun has been glimmering on the water, creating thousands of small stars and diamonds. Now, all is quiet, as if preparing for the night ahead. We can hear the waves rolling gently. On the meandering shore, the sea meets the dark grey rocks, remnants of volcanic eruptions.
The Niká shawl merges these two worlds, at the border of land and sea, in a play of color, texture and stitches. This crescent shawl is named after a cove on the Pantelleria island. Niká alternates lace stitches with thin stripes of stockinette before those morph into an elaborate lace edging. Join us for a refreshing stroll on the shore!

The Niká shawl and the Ossidiana scarf / stole are designed to complement each other. Most probably, you won’t wear them together ;-) but you can knit the shawl and use the remaining yarn to knit a small scarf. If you’d rather knit a long scarf or a stole, that’s totally fine too! Check the yarn estimations on the pattern pages. Both patterns are customizable to let you knit them the size you want.
