Nimiane is a delicately cabled, top-down raglan cardigan. The intricate cable runs down the back, with reflected versions of the same cable on the sleeves. There is no finishing work, as the button band is integrated as you work the cardigan fronts. Optional waist shaping instructions are included. Nimiane is a name for the Arthurian Lady of the Lake.

Needles:

US #3/3.25mm circular needle, 32 inches or longer (larger sizes may prefer a longer needle) and US #3/3.25mm double pointed needles or preferred method for small circumference knitting in the round.
Or size to make gauge

Gauge: 24 stitches/32 rows per 4” in stockinette stitch, worked flat. Ensure you use a correct needle size to make gauge in the round as well. Knitting in the round sometimes means you’re knitting more tightly; you may need to go up a needle size to make sure you stay at the correct gauge.
