Please, note that:

  • The PDF pattern was last updated on 30-04-2016.

  • I never designed a multiple-sized pattern before. I knit the garment in size XS only, with the yarns I suggested above. Yardage and final dimensions given are correct for size XS, for all the other sizes, I’m sorry, but they could be not.

  • I used two different yarns to get an aran weigth yarn, but you can substitute them with a single aran weigth yarn.

Description

This is a male jacket and it features set-in pockets, set-in sleeves and a doubled collar.
It is worked from the top down. The back is worked to armhole first, then stitches are picked up at shoulders to work the fronts. Fronts and back are then joined at underarm and knit in one piece to the hem.
Sleeve stitches are picked up around the armhole and are worked with short rows to shape the sleeve cap. Then they’re knit in the round down to the cuff.
All bind off are Tubular Bind Off.
I-cords have been knit for jacket fastening.
