This scarf is quick to knit, easy to put together, and super cute. Loop it around twice for a chunky cowl look.

Each of the braided strands is formed by a long stockinette rectangle just five stitches wide, which then curls into a tidy cylinder for convenient braiding. Be sure to use a super bulky, soft yarn!

(By the way, you can see in some of the photos that somehow, I connected one strand of my scarf backwards. It, uh, adds an element of handmade charm. Whatever I did wrong, I corrected it in the pattern. I wouldn’t normally post something with an imperfect photo, but I like this scarf as it is in spite of that little error, so please use your imagination—and take care to face all your strands the same way!)
