PATTERN NOTES
As beautiful as it is boho, this lacy crochet vest perfectly compliments flowy dresses and tops. Worked in the round from the center out, this cardigan vest is fun to make and even more fun to wear – our model couldn’t resist a bit of twirling with this vest draped over her shoulders.

SEWING PATTERN NOTES
I have sewn this dress pattern twice before, and I love it so much that I wanted to include it in this collection. It is McCall’s 7383, and includes different body lengths, sleeve lengths, and hem finishes in the pattern envelope. I went for view C here, which is the sleeveless option with a handkerchief hem. The pattern pieces are cut on the bias which gives the piece a free flowing feel, similar to the feel of the crochet vest.

To further give these two pieces a cohesive feel, I chose a jersey fabric printed with feathers. The motifs in the vest are traditionally seen as “pineapples” in the crochet world; to me they also read as feathers.

SIZES
Extra Small (Small, Medium, Large, 1X, 2X, 3X, 4X)
Shown in Medium size.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Distance between tops of armholes: 10¾ (11½, 12, 12½, 13¼, 13¾, 14¼, 14¾)”
Diameter: 37½ (38½, 39½, 40½, 41½, 42½, 43½, 44½)”
Note: The best way to choose a size is to measure across your back to determine the best width between armholes. Measure at the top of your back beginning roughly between where your bra straps sit. It is also easy to try this piece on as you go, so don’t stress too much at the start about which size to choose.
