This is a basic, unisex mitten, and a great “first mitten” project.

Because it is so simple, you can easily add colorwork, cables, embroidery, or other embellishments to the basic design, and it is easy to make simple adjustments to the fit for a larger or smaller mitten.

Included is an option for a fingerless version, using a technique for making stripes out of a single color of variegated yarn.
