This cowl was designed in the new Miss Babs Yowza Trios which debut in the Miss Babs booth at Rhinebeck this week. They will also be available at SAFF the week after, and online after that. They are gorgeous skeins of DK/light worsted in beautiful colors and I loved doing this quick and portable cowl design.

(And yes, I realize that it’s green!)

“No Harm, No Cowl” is a deceptively simple cowl to knit (and allows me to torture you guys with another bad pun!) Purl an extra round, don’t worry about it, leave one out, no big deal; as they say – no harm, no foul. Knitting should be fun, not about perfection, and you will have fun with this seamless, top down pattern with its constantly changing stitches. It gradually grows to envelope you loosely around the lower part of your neck/upper chest. If you’d like to use a crazy, variegated yarn, I suggest you use it as Color A.
