Style is not about money – it is about being clever.

We all have the ubiquitous stash of leftovers – those 30-75 (or more) yards of something that you can’t bear to ditch. This is one of three “No Left-overs” patterns designed to make the highest and best use of these orphans. They need happiness, they need a purpose – and you need to save cash and feel creative.

These are simple, stackable designs for using up these semi-skeins, or short yardage (high cost) luxury skeins.

Create a “cowl” out of multiples – good for changing up your wardrobe, accommodating the weather (or personal summers). You can go light or heavy and vary the texture and color to your whim.

NEEDLES/GAUGE: I used a US 10 size circular (16”) needle and was able to do approx. 4 stitches to the inch. You are aiming at about a “19 inch up to 28“ un-stretched circumference, and the needle size can be modified to accommodate your yarn. Gauge is really critical, because it must be big enough to fit over your head. Vary the circumference according to you needs.

PATTERN: Consist of 75, 81 or 90 (all divisible by 3) stitches worked in the round as indicated.
