“My favorite part of knitting has always been conquering new challenges.
I know I have a reputation for loving patterns that look rather complicated. Truth be told…I like things to look complicated, but have an underlying simplicity.”
(N.G. in Knitting Nature)

Norah Gaughan has certainly come and conquered in the knitting world. Not only have entirely new stitches and cables sprung from her needles, but she has also introduced amazingly novel garment shapes and construction. With Norah, knitting is not just back and forth or up and down, but it branches, goes diagonal, and travels around in spirals and circles. In celebration of Norah’s pluckiness, this second installment in The Plucky Knitter Series is an infinity scarf bearing a striking geometric textured pattern that is relatively simple to work, with angles formed by single decreases and yarn overs. The textured angles pop in the rich colors of The Plucky Knitter yarn; instructions for either a scarf or cowl are given.

Skill level: Easy to intermediate. Both charted and written instructions are provided.
