A knitting pattern to knit an aviator hat inspired by Nordic fairisle and design. It is knitted from the bottom up in the round and the 2 colour fairisle section is very easy.

4 sizes are included so you can knit this hat for all the family.

Skill level is intermediate as you have to be able to knit in the round and knit fairisle. The bottom of the hat is finished off by embroidering a round of blanket stitch round the hat, although you could also single crochet round the hat instead.

You will need 100g Aran weight yarn in the main colour, 25 - 50g in a contrast colour ( a variegated yarn looks good here), 5 mm needles and a wool needle.

This hat knits up very quickly and would make a lovely gift too!
