Depicting the North Star and majestic Stag, the Nordover cowl pays homage to adventures that await due north.
Knit in two colors using the double knitting technique, it goes the extra mile as a reversible knitwear piece, great for him or her!
The wonderfully fluffy fabric created by this fun-to-knit technique is perfect for keeping the cold out and for holding its form, so you can stay toasty on the slopes or simply while out and about in frostier climates.
The graph pattern can be repeated 1 and a 1/2 times for the shorter version (2 skeins in each color), or repeated twice for the fabulously cozy, taller version, that can pull double-duty as a snood (3 skeins of the dark color, 2 of the light color).
The pattern calls for 4.5 mm knitting needles, but is easily adapted to size up or down, if desired.
Don’t pass up the opportunity to work with Woolfolk Yarn’s very light, sporty & luxurious yarn series, Får, which also offers an exquisitely modern line-up of colors and knits up well with a needle size anywhere from 4 - 5.5 mm. (The piece shown above is knit in colors no. 11 and no.18 of this dreamy series.)
Indulge your inner adventurer with the Nordover cowl, keeping you cozy and ready for anything!
