The Norfolk Mitts are a very quick and deceptively easy pattern, which means they make the perfect last minute gift. They use a very small amount of yarn too, so they’re great for using up little bits of leftover yarn from other special projects. These comfortable and easy to wear mitts are small enough to slip into your jacket pocket or bag when you’re indoors, then put on again as soon as you head back into the winter chill.
Theses mitts are made using the mosaic knitting technique, which is very easy to do, even if you’ve never tried colour work before. Only one colour is used at a time, so you don’t have to manage two colours per row. If you can knit and purl in the round, and make basic increases, you can make these mitts.
Each pair uses approximately 60m (65yds) of Main Colour and 40m (45yds) of Contrast Colour.
