The North Coast Fingerless Mitts Kit is debuting along with the alpaca yarn company called Our Back 40 at Vogue Knitting Live in New York City in January 2013.

The colorway shown is Earth and Bone.

A striking geometric Fair Isle Pattern makes these fingerless mitts as suitable for the city sophisticate as they are for the country lass. The pattern is straightforward and if you are a newcomer to stranded knitting, this pattern offers a quick and rewarding introduction.

Enjoy choosing your own color combination!

Our Back 40 is selling a kit that includes their luxury alpaca worsted weight yarn and the pattern. The yarn is amazingly soft! It is made from alpaca fleece with microns of less than 18.0 plus it is 100% American grown. The kit is a very worthwhile purchase, treat yourself or make an incredible gift!

Note: The mitts use almost all the yarn in the kit - no waste!

This pattern will become available in my pattern shop at a later date but not for quite awhile. I will update this design page when the pattern becomes available.
