ABOUT THIS PATTERN
Skill Level is EASY-INTERMEDIATE
New and better way to use ruffle tape yarn!
The black border looks like it is crocheted or knitted lace but it is just ruffle tape yarn. It is only one row but looks like 3 1/2 inches of work.

ABOUT COLORWORK
It is not intarsia or Fairisle. It is easy. In Belrus we call this slip stitch pattern or lazy patterns. You use one color yarn for 2 rows and another color for 2 rows.

Highlights to remember…
Mark the wrong side of your work. And every row before slipstitch carry the yarn on the wrong side of the work.
Many beginner knitters from The Yarn Boutique have knitted similar pattern.

HAPPY KNITTING!
