This is the sophisticated older sister to the Southern Lights Cowl. Another mobius construction with a simple body repeat, the deep lace edging really sets off this piece. Made large enough to drape beautifully, it gives the appearance of wearing a shrug with a deep collar.

It is highly recommended that this cowl be made in a fiber that has a great drape.

Skills needed: foundation single crochet, chain, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet.

Check your gauge! I used very close to the entire skein of Blue Heron Rayon. Don’t run out of yarn by assuming you can match my gauge. Take the few minutes to check.
