Create something otherworldly by combining two very different fibers and an old stitch that was used for knitting coats. This all around bag has a unique look and is rugged for everyday use.

The shoulder bag is worked in two pieces - the body is one and the other, the shoulder strap, is attached along the sides to complete the carry-all. You decide if you want the optional lining. Instructions are included for it. All you need is two skeins of Cascade 220 wool and 6 balls of Ecolution fine hemp twine (6 strand - 200 ft each). We used green wool and rainbow twine for one and blue wool and blue multi hemp for the other.

Use this coat stitch to create a bag that has both style and function!
