When all the twisted earwarmer patterns started coming out this past fall, I fell in love and I knew I had to make one that was both crocheted, and -had a lot of texture to really stand out. In came the extended moss stitch, which then spurred the name of Northside Earwarmer, as moss famously prefers to grow on the north side of trees.

This pattern is perfect for those who need an earwarmer pattern to make for markets as it can be made in about 30 minutes, and I can get 4 out of a skein of yarn!
