This pattern is not a Buff, as seen on certain real life surviving type shows…. but it can be used just like one!

The pattern very easy once you get the hang of it, and so useful! Here’s a few examples of how you can use your “Not a Buff”

• Neck warmer/cowl
• Windbreaker/air filter (think dust mask)
• Bandana
• Beanie/skull cap
• Balaclava
• Headband
• Baby sleep sack with easy access for diaper changes!
• Tube top or mini skirt for skinny people.. or a child maybe

I made mine with Malabrigo Arroyo for the super soft Merino that is machine washable! Fantastic! I used one skien plus a bit from a second skien. You could also do a different color border top and bottom to make it all from only one skien of the Arroyo.

The gauge is not as important, as I recommend measuring as you go along to attain the right shape.
