A treat for your own hands or the perfect holiday gift for smartphone users! These fingerless mitts will keep the wearer warm and toasty through the colder months. Knit in the round with two contrasting sportweight yarns, the mitts have a striking graphic pattern that looks great in any colour.

The mitts may look like complicated stranded knitting, but this is Not Fair (isle)! It’s actually a basic slip stitch pattern, using only one colour per round. With an integrated thumb gusset and no seaming, you’ll knit these up in a flash.

Since the project is much simpler than it looks, this is a no-chart pattern, suitable for those who are new to colourwork, or daunted by complicated fair isle charts and instructions.

You will need sport weight yarn in two contrasting colours in the following quantities
Womens XS 95 yards MC, 50 yards CC
Womens S 100 yards MC, 55 yards CC
Womens M 110 yards MC, 60 yards CC
Womens L 120 yards MC, 65 yards CC
Womens XL 130 yards MC, 70 yards CC

Note that the gauge is given in the pattern slip stitch, and you should swatch in the round with the yarn you intend to use. The wide range of sizes means that even if you do not achieve gauge, you can easily adjust the pattern to suit your gauge.
