Not only Christmas Hat is a very simple hat with a long tail and big pompom.

It’s based on knit and purl stitches and it’s knitting in rounds.
For this hat you can use only one color or as many as you want (it’s a good design to use your left over yarns).

I made this hat because of the Christmas and the presentation in my daughter’s kindergarten, but my girls were finally wearing this hat whole hat’s season.

Note! If you would like to make a hat for everyday wearing I would highly recommend making not too big or not too fluffy pompom - because of it weight. You can also make a longer tail, but be careful too - it can be too heavy and can make (together with pompom) the hat will be falling from the head during playing.

Sizes (head circumference):
XXXS (33-36cm / 13-14 inches)
XXS (36-43cm / 14-17 inches)
XS (41-46cm / 16-18 inches)
S (46-51cm / 18-20inches)
M (48-54cm / 19-21inches)
L (51-56cm / 20-22inches)

Other materials:

• Circular needles in two sizes – first in size needed to obtain gauge, second in one size down. (For the sample I was using 4mm and 3,5mm / US6 and US4) (Note! you can go one size needle up more for body of the hat if you would like a little bit looser hat)
• Tapestry needle
• 1 stitch marker
• Optional: pompom making tool
