True story…Ladies love boots.

All of my friends who know I knit (which is about 98.7%) have asked me to make these cute little cuffs for their boots this winter.

I went on ravelry, but everything that I saw that I liked involved cables.

Now, I know how to cable. But sometimes, quite honestly, I just don’t feel like doing it. Call it laziness, call it, well, it’s mostly laziness. I just get to a point in many patterns where I think “If I have to do one more flippin’ cable I’m going to poke someone’s eye out with a #10 needle!!

So I worked on this little “not quite a cable” pattern last night. It knits up very quickly (great around the Holiday season), and uses up those little stash balls that nobody knows what to do with, but since we’re all yarnaholics, just can’t bare to throw away.

I knit these doing magic loop. If you are unfamiliar with magic loop, there are some great videos on www.youtube.com to help you out. You can also use DPN as well.
