This pattern is inspired by Drums of Autumn (the 4th book in the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon), which is the inspiration for the 4th season of the hit tv show Outlander coming this November.

The Design - I have once again teamed up with Julia of Pandia’s Jewels to create this pattern. Our inspiration is the plants that Claire uses to treat illness and injury in their new home in the American colonies. Botanical inspired lace makes up most of this rectangular wrap. Both ends of the wrap come to a point in garter stitch.

Grab your yarn and needles. “Nothing is lost, Sassenach; only changed.” Happy Knitting!

This wrap is knit flat.

The knitter needs to be comfortable with the following techniques: knit, purl, k2tog, k3tog, kfb, passing slipped stitches over, slipping stitches, ssk, yo, increases, and decreases. Instructions for all these techniques are included in the pattern.

This pattern includes instructions in both written and chart forms.

I’d like to express my immense gratitude to the creators of Outlander for their entertaining work. This design would never have been possible without their inspiration.

Huge thanks to my amazing test knitters: Ann (roocmc), Julia (4jewels4), Kimberly (Napiersknits), & Mariet (Mariawilhelmina)! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Pattern was tech edited by the phenomenal Lisa (MeanestMommy)! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
