This pattern is designed for use with 3 skeins of our Pearlescent Worsted Weight yarn in colorways: Mermaid Harbor (2 skeins) and Sterling Silver (1 skein). Choose any colorways you like, though. You’ll need US Size 8 (5.0 mm) 32” circular needle or longer to accommodate the large number of sts.

Notes From the Designer:

•Pattern inspiration: I was inspired by the yarn colors, which made me think of waves breaking against the shore. The simple lace pattern in the textured sections gives the impression of water against sand (the stockinette sections).

•The name came from the movie White Christmas. I watched it twice during the time I was working on the sample, and one of my favorite scenes is the first dance number between Danny Kaye and Vera Ellen at Novello’s in Florida before the characters head to Vermont. I love Phil and Betty dancing by the waterfront, especially when they hop up on one of the overturned boats without missing a step. I decided to name this piece Novello in honor of that scene.
