Simple lace snowflakes drift across this warm winter shawl. Sequins plied with the yarn give you all the sparkle of falling snow with none of the cold. Knit in the entrelac technique, the shawl can be made as small or as large as you wish. The sample was made with 10 tiers of blocks, for which 4 balls of yarn were needed, and measures 76” x 38” after blocking. If you choose to go larger, please allow additional yarn.

As this yarn has a high acrylic content, steam blocking is recommended.

This is a lace shawl, so gauge is not important.

Additional supplies needed are:
4mm needles
stitch markers
tapestry needle for weaving in ends

Please note that some familiarity with entrelac is assumed, this is not a tutorial for the technique.

As with all my patterns, great care has been taken to ensure the pattern is error-free, but occasionally things slip through. Please don’t hesitate to let me know if you find one.
