April 2010: Updated with new layout to match the A Year in Sock Collection patterns (now also available individually).

The simple, yet elegant honeycomb ribbing stitch pattern makes for a very useful sock for everyday wear. The simplicity of the stitch pattern works great with those wonderful, multi-coloured sock yarns. The colour and the denseness of the pattern remind me of November. Knowing what November is like where I live, some might notice the pun in the title…

Also part of A Year in Socks - a collection of 12 sock patterns by Birgitte Zeuner.
12 different sock patterns for only $22 USD.

The pattern in the collection is a modification of the free pattern.

A collection of twelve different sock patterns – one for each month of the year – where I’ve let the feeling of each month inspire me. The product is a collection of twelve different sock patterns reflecting the seasons and featuring a variety of stitch patterns and designs all using the same foundation – the sock. All patterns include stitch pattern charts. All patterns are written as cuff-down, but about half of them may be adjusted to toe-up by the experienced knitter.
