Inspired by the arbor of old trees that line some of Portland’s inner neighborhood streets, November Street is a wrap designed for using a heavier yarn than most shawls. Cascades of leaves invoking those blown in the autumn wind stream from the center. The stitch pattern is from Mitten, Pattern #11, found in “Home Work, a Choice Collection of Useful Designs for Crochet and Knitting Needle,” an 1891 publication. The wrap can be made in either small or large versions for any sized adult.
