This elegant Celtic-inspired cape features a dramatic cabled front panel, Basket Weave detail, unique braid cable edge finish, and a cozy fisherman’s rib collar. Nuallan is a show-stopping throw-on layer perfect for chilly days or nights.

The Nuallan cape can be made in two lengths: a shorter capelet reaching the elbow, or a mid-length cape ending at the hips. Both lengths are worked in the round from the top down to the elbow; the mid-length cape is then split into front and back panels, which are worked flat. Braid cable edging is knit separately and seamed to the cape. Most of the stitch patterns are only charted and not written.

Sample is S/M Cape; model is 34” bust.
