Gauge on US 4 - 5 stitches, 6.5 rows = 1 inch
Gauge on US 8 - 4 stitches, 5 rows = 1 inch

US 4 double pointed needles - set of 5
US 8 circular needles 47 inches long

I used one skein of this yarn to make the cowl and mittens. There was maybe 2 yards of yarn left when I finished. It wouldn’t hurt to get extra if you knit much looser than I do.

Also, I used Cat Bordhi’s moebius cast on method which can be found on YouTube. I knit round #1 as per her instructions then began the pattern.
