This is a rectangular lace shawl or wrap with a sewn on lace edge, designed in the Estonian tradition, using several specific Estonian patterns and stitches: nupps, gathered (star) stitches etc.

The lace patterns in the shawl come from various sources: the Waterlily pattern is an adaptation of the Vesiroosikiri pattern, published in Haapsalu sall by Siiri Reimann, and the center pattern was originally published as No. 59 in Pitsilised Koekirjad by Leili Reimann. The pattern for the lace edge was found in Knitted Lace from Estonia by Nancy Bush.

The pattern is fully charted, and all symbols and techniques are explained in the written pattern instructions.

A version 2 was uploaded May 23 with a few minor corrections in the text. I also added some details on how to sew on the lace edge which you might want to check.
The new version also has a link to the Stitch Calculator.xlsx, which calculates the number of stitches needed for the lace edge on a rectangular shawl by both methods published by Nancy Bush (Knitted Lace of Estonia).

Alternative charts for the border was added as a separate file.
