ABOUT:

This pattern was originally designed for the Crochet Tournament 2021, organised by Crochet Australia with patterns from Shelley Husband Spincushions, Joy Clements Crochetroad and Emily Littlefair The Loopy Stitch.

It is no secret that I love crocheting designs in the round. They are my go-to for patterns. I find
something special about creating them. It’s soothing, meditative and something that brings me
much joy.

This pattern contains written instructions, round-by-round photos, and a chart and is only made up of 3 crochet stitches.

It is written in US and UK Terms, please download the file you need.

SKILL LEVEL:

This pattern is aimed at a beginner level, but I do try and write my patterns so that everyone can follow them, as long as you know how to make the stitches used within the design.

GAUGE:

Make rounds 1-3 from pattern. Circle should measure 8cm/ 3 1/8 inches across.

MATERIALS:

Fiddlesticks Superb 8
4.5mm hook
Yarn needle and scissors
Block equipment if desired - not required, but a light block will help it sit just right.
A hoop if you want to hang your mandala

Any yarn can be used though, make sure you use the corresponding hook size.

SOCIAL MEDIA:

Remember I LOVE seeing what you create so please use the hashtag #theloopystitch and #nurturemandala or send photos to theloopystitches@gmail.com. They could appear in my posts and on my website.

Happy Hooking!
Much love,
Em xx
