As I was recently working on a Ballett production of “Dracula”, I came up with this gothic architectural inspired hat. The slouch features mock cables and twisted stitches, crossing no more than one stitch at a time – and you don’t need a cable needle for that. The main body is really simple – only the last 20 rows get a little tricksy.
But believe me – it looks more complicated than it actually is. If I can manage to make it up, you for sure can manage to knit it!

Edit:
I have added the written instructions to the pattern on 21.06.11. Everyone who has downloaded the file before that date will have the charted version only!

As I have been asked: I don’t think it’s necessary to block this hat. But I also haven’t tried, so I cannot say how it will look like. I hardly block anything anyways - so I would put it down to personal preference.
