This is a complex cabled sweater with great fit and shaping. Peplum welt and a beautiful rope cable neck line. Two balls of different colours knitted together to create a lovely tweed.
The notion for the design came last winter walking in ancient forests and glimpsing through the stark dark branches of the Oak and Beech the antlers of a beautiful stag… Cuillin and I crouched down and waited and watched as he moved silently through the forest…stepping over fallen logs and gracefully leaping away when he sensed us nearby.
The back is really quite special, with an overlay knitted trellis…amazingly good fun! References 18th century corsetry. A real must for cable lovers who want a challenge.
Length: Small 19ins, Medium 20.5ins, Large 22ins.

The pattern is charted but with written notations for the overlay trellis section on the back.
