Wool pillows make couches so much cozier. This pillow cover is the perfect thing to add to your coach for fall, it’s big enough to make a statement or to curl up with a cup of tea a movie on a fall evening. Oak is worked in intarsia (different blocks of colour done with different balls of yarn). To begin you will need to wind your contrasting colour (CC) into two balls of 50g.

Needles: 4mm circulars or size needed to achieve gauge
Gauge: 22 sts and 28 rows are 4” in stockinette
Size: finished pillow is 12” by 24” with a 3” overlapping button band

Other requirements:
Oak is meant to fit around any of the following cushions from IKEA: höstfibbla, mattram, and penninggräs, all of which are listed as 12” by 24”. Alternatively you could purchase stuffing and sew the opening closed after filling the pillow.
