Oak Lane is an easy, folded poncho worked in Stockinette stitch with a textured border and makes a perfect topper for a mild autumn or spring day.

The poncho is worked flat in one piece, folded, then seamed along the shoulder.

The textured border is an easy combination of knits and purls and makes this a great project for the advanced beginner.

800 yards of a heavy worsted yarn and size US 8 needles are all that’s needed; the directions are written.
