Using a vintage lace pattern from 1897 with the body knitted in stocking stitch, this is an easy sideways knitted shawl in a gentle triangle shape.
The oak leaf pattern is a little complicated, however, and the stitch count changes between rows.
The yarn is wound into 2 balls of equal weight/length. Use 1 ball to get the desired width and then the second ball for the remainder. The shawl can be made wider by increasing 1 sitch more frequently.
The pattern is written only.
