This is an interesting and textured cowl that starts with a provisional cast on for the bottom edging, which is knit back and forth flat on two needles. When the edging is complete you graft the cast on to the live stitches at the end to make a circle. From here the stitches for the body of the cowl are picked up and knit in the round. It is finished off with an i-cord bind off, and you are left with a beautiful textured cowl to wear when the weather is a little less warm and the breeze is chilly.

The pattern uses 3.5mm circular needles/dpns and 286 yards of sock hand dyed yarn.

Enjoy!
