What could be more comforting on a chilly morning than warm bowl of steel cut oatmeal with fresh fruit and cream or a little swirl of maple syrup? The cuddly Oatmeal Afghan knit in Valley Yarns Amherst is designed to be just as comforting, both to use and to make! Simple, quick garter stitch triangles, doctored up with a few well-placed eyelet rows, make for a great portable project. The yarn overs at the edges of each triangle, and the eyelet rows at the bases, are easily whip-stitched together.
