This is just the basic granny square modified in a way that adds a relief “flower” motif.

I designed it for the knit-a-square charity project that requires 20x20 cm sguares made into blankets for african children. use it for anything you fancy, modify it, give it away.

I made it with the beginner in mind - it is a very simple mod of the granny square motif. the gauge is not important.
